Consignment Terms & Seller Agreement

Interested in selling your luxury items through us? We offer a trusted consignment service to help you rehome authentic, unused or preloved designer pieces. Below are the terms for all consignment sellers using The Designer Finds platform.

1. Items We Accept

  • Authentic designer items only — including handbags, shoes, accessories, and selected clothing
  • Items must be in new, excellent, or very good resaleable condition
  • We do not accept replicas or counterfeit goods under any circumstances

2. Authentication

All items must pass our internal quality and authenticity checks. In some cases, we may request proof of purchase or a certificate of authenticity. If authentication cannot be confirmed, we may decline the item or return it at the sender’s expense.

3. Commission & Payment

  • Commission rates vary depending on the item’s value and condition — this will be agreed in advance
  • Once the item sells and is confirmed delivered to the buyer, payouts are issued within 7–14 days
  • Payouts are made via bank transfer (UK) or PayPal (international)

4. Listing Duration

Items will be listed for a minimum of 30 days. We reserve the right to adjust pricing, offer private sales, or promote the item across our platforms (Shopify, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and more).

5. Unsold Items

  • If your item remains unsold after 60 days, we will contact you to discuss options — including returning the item, reducing the price, or extending the listing period
  • If you request the item to be returned, postage will be charged at cost

6. Responsibility

All items remain your property until sold. However, while in our care, we handle your pieces with the utmost attention and respect. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by external courier services or customs during return transport.

7. Legal Declaration

By sending an item to us for consignment, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal owner of the item
  • The item is 100% authentic and not counterfeit or altered
  • You agree to the terms outlined on this page
